Tempo V39 — Abstract Tile Artworks

Within the Tempo V39 bar in Vilnius, a project defined by the harmony of natural and warm materials, four ceramic tile artworks introduce a naturalistic and slightly unexpected element. Each piece, composed of 24 handmade tiles measuring 10 × 10 cm (arranged in a 4 × 6 grid), reinterprets abstract facial forms inspired by folklore themes.

The artworks complement the interior — a space where exposed walls steeped in the scent of the old town meet contemporary metal surfaces and thoughtfully designed lighting. Their organic forms provide a tactile counterpoint to these rigid textures, bringing warmth and visual interest to the bar’s central area.
